What I offer

Focused services.
Deep expertise.

Four disciplines. Zero fluff. Every service COVA offers is one I've spent years working on — not an upsell, not a side offering.

01 Web Development

Websites built to perform, not just to look good.

Most websites I see are slow, rigid, and disconnected from how the business actually works. I build sites that are fast enough to rank, flexible enough for your team to manage, and structured well enough for search engines to understand — using AI-assisted development to move faster without cutting corners on code quality or performance.

What I build

  • Marketing & corporate websites — Astro-powered, statically generated, scoring 99+ on Google Lighthouse out of the box.
  • WordPress websites with headless or classic CMS — when your team needs the flexibility of a familiar editor without sacrificing performance.
  • Landing pages & campaign sites — conversion-focused, fast to ship, and measurable from day one.
  • Web applications — React or Next.js for dynamic, data-driven interfaces where static generation isn't enough.

What every project includes

  • Performance audit & target Lighthouse score agreed before build
  • SEO architecture: canonical URLs, structured data, sitemap, robots.txt
  • WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility compliance
  • GDPR-compliant cookie handling and privacy-first analytics setup
  • Responsive design tested on real devices (not just browser resize)
  • CMS training and handover documentation for your team
  • 30-day post-launch support window included

Is this right for you?

This service fits businesses that want a website built to last — not the cheapest build today that you'll need to rebuild in two years. Typical clients: professional services firms, SMEs with a real marketing need, startups launching their first proper web presence, or companies migrating away from slow legacy sites.

02 Process Automation

Stop paying your team to do computers' work.

Every business has workflows that eat hours every week: copying data between systems, sending the same status update emails, generating the same reports, routing approvals through Slack and WhatsApp. These tasks don't require human judgment — they require a well-designed automation. I map your existing workflows, identify the time-sinks, and replace them with reliable, monitored automations — increasingly combining traditional automation platforms with AI for tasks that need judgment, not just rules.

Common use cases I solve

  • CRM & ERP data sync — automatic bidirectional sync between your sales tools, billing systems, and databases. No more manual exports.
  • Lead & enquiry routing — form submissions, inbound emails, or API events that automatically create records, notify the right person, and log everything.
  • Report generation & distribution — scheduled reports pulled from databases or APIs, formatted, and sent to stakeholders automatically.
  • Document generation workflows — trigger-based creation of contracts, quotes, or onboarding packs, ready to sign or send.
  • Multi-platform notification systems — alerts routed to email, Slack, Teams, or SMS based on conditions you define.
  • E-commerce backend automation — order confirmation, inventory alerts, supplier notifications, and fulfilment triggers.

How every automation engagement works

  1. 01
Workflow mapping — we document your current process step by step, identifying exactly what's manual and where time is lost.
  2. 02
Tool selection — I choose the right tool for your infrastructure (usually n8n for self-hosted/cloud, Node-RED for IoT/edge, or custom Node.js for complex logic).
  3. 03
Build & test — automation built, unit-tested with real data, and validated against edge cases before going live.
  4. 04
Monitoring & handover — error alerting configured, runbook written, and your team trained on what to do if something breaks.
03 AI Integration

AI that does real work, not just demos.

Most businesses are either ignoring AI entirely or paying for tools they don't fully use. The value is in the middle: taking real, repetitive tasks that currently need a human — classifying emails, extracting data from documents, drafting structured responses, routing support tickets — and replacing them with reliable LLM-powered workflows that integrate directly into your existing systems. No vendor lock-in, no magic black boxes.

What I build

  • Custom AI assistants & chatbots — trained on your content, integrated into your website or internal tools, with escalation paths when the AI can't handle it.
  • Document intelligence workflows — extract structured data from unstructured documents (invoices, contracts, emails) and push it directly into your database or CRM.
  • AI-powered process automation — augmenting n8n workflows with LLM nodes to handle tasks that need judgment, not just rules: classification, summarisation, content generation.
  • RAG systems (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) — knowledge base chatbots that answer questions from your own documents, with citations and source tracing.
  • LLM API integration — embedding Claude or GPT-4o into your existing application via API: product descriptions, personalised emails, content moderation, translation.
  • AI agent pipelines — multi-step autonomous agents that research, decide, and act — with human-in-the-loop checkpoints where it matters.

How I approach AI projects

  1. 01
Problem definition — we identify one concrete, measurable task where AI replaces manual effort. Scope creep kills AI projects.
  2. 02
Model & tool selection — I choose the right model for the job (Claude for reasoning and long context, GPT-4o for vision, smaller models for speed and cost).
  3. 03
Prompt engineering & evaluation — systematic testing against real examples before anything goes near production.
  4. 04
Integration & monitoring — deployed into your stack with cost tracking, error logging, and a fallback path when the model fails or halluccinates.
04 Output Management

Enterprise document pipelines that scale.

Output management is the infrastructure behind high-volume transactional documents — invoices, account statements, regulatory notices, policy documents. When a company sends tens of thousands of documents per month, the pipeline behind those documents needs to be fast, accurate, and auditable. This is specialist work that most developers don't touch. I've been doing it for years, with sysHub, Objectif Lune, and OL Connect.

What I design and implement

  • Document composition — dynamic template design for complex multi-page documents with conditional logic, variable data, and multi-language support.
  • Multi-channel delivery — single pipeline that routes documents to print, email, PDF archive, web portal, and digital signing platforms simultaneously.
  • ERP & billing system integration — connecting Oracle, SAP, or custom billing systems to the output layer via SQL queries, APIs, or flat-file exchange.
  • High-volume print stream management — AFP, PostScript, and PCL stream processing, including white-paper printing and postal preparation.
  • Compliance & audit trail — logging every document generation event with timestamps, delivery status, and version control for regulatory compliance.
  • Legacy migration — modernising existing output systems that are ageing, unsupported, or bottlenecking growth.

Is this right for you?

Output management becomes critical once you're generating more than a few hundred documents per day, or when regulatory requirements demand an auditable, controlled output process. If you're running on a legacy system that's reaching end-of-life, or your current pipeline can't scale with your billing volume, I can help you scope a migration or an upgrade.
